2. By planning your meals ahead as much as possible, you will diminish the instances where you are faced with eating bad, high calorie and unhealthy meals.
3. Drink water as often as possible. This will help you stay hydrated and feel as though you are not overly hungry which leads to overeating.
4. Exercise as often as possible and as much as you can. It doesn't have to be a strenuous 10 mile run. It can be something simple like climbing stairs instead of using the lift. If you can, set aside 40 minutes per day for some sort of exercise.
5. Set goals. Your goals should be challenging enough that they keep you motivated but, at the same time, they should be realistic.
6. In today's marketplace there are many types of healthy foods and you should take advantage of them. By doing so, you won't get bored eating the same old green things everyday.
7. Combine weight training with cardiovascular exercise. You will tone your body muscles, look great and have a faster metabolism.
8. Crash diets don't work so don't do it. Any weight you lose will probably come back at some point.
9. When eating meat, remove the skin if possible. Cut down on consuming too much fat but eat as many fruits and vegetables as you want.
10. When you eat large evening meals or late night snacks, your body doesn't have a chance to work off the energy it gets from this food. Therefore, you should avoid these meals.
